When it’s healthy to travel!…

Samnaun – the Southern most valley of the “Engadine” and the most eastern part of Switzerland. Access is via the “Engadine” or through the Austrian “Tirol”. Be it driving or with public transportation it’s a journey well worth undertaking!

 


By car to Samnaun

Via Switzerland
One reaches Samnaun on the Engadiner route: via the Vereina Tunnel in winter or the Flüela Pass in summer, road junction Vinadi to Samnaun. You reach Samnaun via the Engadinstrasse: through the Vereintunnel in Winter or over the Flüelapass in Summer, branching off at “Vinadi” until you reach Samnaun.

Please note: If you are traveling from Switzerland to Samnaun you require a valid travel document as you will pass through “Martina” which is a tax-free area and may be controlled

Via Austria
You reach Samnaun via the “Inntalstrasse”: via Landeck until you reach “Pfunds”, branching off at “Kajetansbrücke” and via “Spiss” to enter Samnaun.
